 In math we have been looking a protactors and measuring angles. Some of us found it really easy but others found it really hard(The formulas)

  We helped Mrs Vass do a bullying report and she got a great report so she bought us some sweets to eat which we really like. We also have a therey that mobile phones are educational and we have been doing our work on them. from brenna xx. We type our work into the notebook in our mobiles and then we mark them. its gr8 fun! the other day we made protractors and then mrs v would read out an angle and we had to show it on our homemade protractors. i (tessie) still doesnt understand angles and degrees and i dont kow how to measure them properly yet.  to get my friend loren to remind me how to do it and then when we mark it i get nearly all of them wrong hehe!  Hello People i'am nicola  in maths we have been doing angles & degrees i don't get degrees but i think angles are quite easy!xx today  we got some sweets from mrs v our maths teacher  her real name is {MRS VASS } but we call her mrs v for short . bye bye xxx

We are back for more fun and recently we have been having a lot of fun with our new math topic shapes. We have watched a presentation and made models. We made 3d shapes out of art straws and clay. We had to cut the straws and stick them together with the clay. We had to pick a partner and I (Brenna() worked with a member of the Denominators called Lisa. Tessie worked with Danni and Nicola worked with Jeanan. Me and Lisa were not that successful, we were rubbish!!! We made no shapes apart from a dismantled cube (because it was to big). me (tessie) and danni were rubbish at the start but then we got the hang of it. i made a shape and danni made a triangluar prism. it was HARD!!!! mine kept falling apart and we kept putting to much playdoe on one side so it would lean and break!!!

Mrs Livingstone (headteacher) is going to look at all our math jotters to see how we work! we all started to panick because we don't work in our math jotters! so today we did some fractions in our jotters and then we went to the ict suite again. we played a game called fraction frenzy! its SO hard!!! you have a time limit and you have to match fractions! i didnt do very well but brenna was really good at it! she got on to round two! there are about 8 levels on each round and they are very hard. it starts of simple with only like two pairs of fractions but then it gets harder so that there are like 15 pairs on one page!! okay i have to go now because it is playtime!

The Formulas got picked to do a video all about a problem that had to be solved and made into a presentation. We really enjoyed doing it and had great fun. The denominaters got picked aswell and when we watched the video back we thought it was really cool. We would love to get picked for loads more things because we find it really fun. At our recent parents evening we had the smart boards on (a big projecter that goes onto a whiteboard and you can click on it with your finger and use special pens and dusters to use on it too, we use it for movies and big computer activites)and we showed the blog to a lot of parents that were really interested in it. We also interviewed some parents it was great fun as the P7's got to help out!!!

Whilst we are havin' a lot of fun and doing different things but working hard at the same time some people are doing their level D!!! GOOD LUCK TO THEM ALL.

We have been shown a new thing and it is called A CLASSROOM AND B CLASSROOM the A classroom is a good classroom and the B classroom is the bad classroom if we act like a b classroom then our teacher acts like a b teacher(and thats bad doing textbook work all the time) and if we act like a A classroom then our teacher acts like a A classroom(and thats good being able to chat about our work).
